Mary Ann and Al, I am very sorry for your loss. John and I met in the mid 90's, he drove a delivery truck and I worked at a warehouse where he made pick-ups almost daily. John took me on my first off road adventure, a trip to the small town of Crown King, in the Bradshaw mountains. I loved going on these tips with John, he was full of knowledge about the history of the abandoned mines and old buildings in the area. I will miss my friend.

John was a outstanding person, meant him at Fort Lewis WA, he was my roommate, and we became close as we found each other in Germany, as we were in different posts, and even after we got out we stayed in touch, but we lost contact for a bit, but found one another again in 2013. We ran into each other at a Walmart of all places, I walked up to him and he said Buttle, and I gave him a hug. John was a good man, and I will miss him very much.

I was a teammate with John for a handful of years at Schwan's Consumer Brands. What I loved about John was his honesty. Even though it was sometimes a little "rough-edged" (okay maybe quite a bit that way LOL) it was from the heart... And I agreed with most of it! You left us too soon my friend, rest in peace. And even though I am a Dallas Stars fan, Go Red Wings! To John's family, stay strong from Gary Johnson

John was such an interesting man. You always knew exactly how he felt, where he stood and what he thought! I will miss those 1am Facebook messages with a political meme. Glad we got to visit a couple years ago and reconnect. Hugs to Al and Mary Ann as they bury their baby brother.

Craig Casho What can I say about my great friend John other than I will miss him dearly, and he will be hard to replace. We met in Phoenix working at a sheet metal fabrication shop, lost contact when I moved out of state, and low and behold, reconnected on FAKEBOOK years later. We fought, exchanged ideas on many subjects, and texted back and forth, made each other crazy with what we wrote, quit talking and texting several times for several months, but through it all remained very good friends. And I keep looking at my phone hoping beyond hope to see another "annoying"text from my pal, John Creque! Miss you buddy!!!!
