Rhonda was my sister in Christ and I thank the Lord our paths crossed. She and I was always friendly but when I retired we became pretty good friends. I will miss our conversations and the laughter. Dear friend you were such a beautiful person inside and out and I've been blessed to have known you. Walter and family you are in my prayers.

My deepest, deepest condolences, Walt, for the the loss of your beloved. Only the Lord knows the depth of your pain and the wounded heart that only He can console. And it is there in your heart that His love will carry and heal you, and where your beloved now also lives eternally. Rhonda has passed from death to life. God bless you and your family in your sorrow, and bring you His Shalom, my friend.

Rhonda supported students for 20 years in District 49 like they were her own children. She truly exemplified the element of "care" on the district's cultural compass. Though she has left us, the spark she put in each child will continue to enrich the community forever. She is lost to us, but her presence will always abide in the lives of the D49 students and families she touched.

Losing a loved one can bring about a sudden feeling of shock and deeply trouble your heart. I found reciting a prayer for comfort has helped bring me consolation and reassurance in the goodness of God and I pray that this Pray will be of comfort to you, Alex, Joseph and the whole family. God of all comfort, my family and I are consumed with the pain of separation from our dear one who has left this life. We know that we will be reunited one day, but our hearts long to be together now. We remember that even Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. And yet, in our sorrow, we thank you for the sweetness of your abiding presence. We thank you for your comfort and the peace that passes all understanding. Amen. My Blessings to you and the family. Denise Campbell

Thank you Rhonda for always being there. Although we meet through Walter, you were an honorary Tuskegee alumni club member! I will always appreciate your sage advice as a new mom ( helped me though my pregnancy), a boy scout Mom (struggling to get to Eagle Scout Mom status) and being an excellent role model and a supportive wife. Your Christian foundation was evident in everything you did was out of love. Thank you Rhonda... The Rankine family will always love and appreciate you!!

Sending Words of comfort for the family. Rhonda truly was an icon. I will never forget the special gift of a Carolina Blanket that she made specially for me on my birthday which we both shared. She always made my BD such a special occasion. I had tears of joy for her thoughtfulness. She had such a loving and caring heart and her big beautiful smile was so infectious. I will miss my friend, but I know spiritually she is just fine. Rest In Peace till we miss again. Love, Pat Bauman

Rhonda was a treasured member of the EMBC Consecrated Women's Ministry. She not only admonished us to be dressed in the proper attire for serving Communion, but she went the extra step of providing extra clothing items to keep us all on a 5-star level, so that Pastor never had to worry. Thank you, Rhonda, for your precise attention to detail; and loving attitude. You literally "helped us along the way". May the Lord smile upon you and yours; and grant your family member the peace He has already granted you!!! Love, EMBC Bereavement Ministry Reverend Savannah Jackson Servant Leader
