Remembering Martin and Dad's birthday this day. Today is Easter Sunday as well making this day even more special because the sacrificial Love of Jesus Christ guarantees us we will one day be in Heaven as they are, eternally, in the presence of God. The family is sharing memories and thoughts of Martin and Dad. They are so missed by all of us. Martin introduced us to DUO and we still contact each other this way to check on one another. Thank God for giving Martin to us. Thank God for his love of all of us. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

I am so sorry to hear the news of Martin's passing. I knew him only from basketball courts where I played against him when he attended Irving (I was at North) and then through high school - he at Mitchell, I at Palmer. He was an exceptional talent on the court to be sure and he carried himself with a calm grace that I always admired. I suppose I never said much more to him than "Hi Martin" during warm-ups or "Good game" after the buzzer sounded. Still, I'm happy to have had those brief moments and the memories of playing against him. My prayers are with his family. - George McJimsey

When I was introduced to you by my son John and we had the blessing of redoing your church, I knew I was in the presence of a Man of God. I will miss you my brother. Your laughs and jokes, your knowledge and love for the souls. I will see you again in the feasts of Christ in Heaven. I will always love you as my brother in Christ.

Giving all praises and glory to God. My prayers and thoughts are with Pastor Martin Felder, his wife Theresa, and their family. I've been knowing Pastor Felder since we were children. Our moms were best friends; they worked at a manufacturing company for years together in Colorado Springs. Whenever my mom visited Ms. Gladys, the adults would send the children out of the room they were in, so my sister and I would go into Pastor Felder's room and play with his toys. Pastor Felder did show us how to play with some oc his toys. Pastor Felder will truly be missed. May God bless and rest Pastor Felder's soul.

We were running mates in high school. I remember being amazed at what you could do on a basketball court. You, Troy, Spud (Austin) and myself use to ride around town hanging out. I saw you at your Church over a year ago. May you rest in the arms of our Lord, my old friend. John Guidry

The Emmanuel MBC family mourns with you as you mourn (Matthew 5)... But not as those who don't have hope 1Thessalonians 4). Pastor Felder was a dear friend to our church. He never allowed anyone to despise his youth; but carried on in the work of the Ministry. God's blessings upon all his Loved ones; especially Lady Teresa, and Momma Gladys. Rev. Savannah Jackson, EMBC Bereavement Servant Leader. Rev. Cleveland A. Thompson, Senior Pastor
