Obituary of Colleen Gay Fulton

Colleen Fulton, loving daughter, sister, mother, friend, and grandmother (aka Gram), was called back to our heavenly home peacefully on July 27, 2021 with her six children surrounding her, holding her close. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, loved God with all her might, and loved her children, and grandchildren more than life itself. She made the world a brighter place when she was born on March 13, 1956 in Provo, Utah and continued to share her sparkle every where she went through her beautiful, colorful life. Colleen was a mom at an early age and, although it was a demanding calling, she was a solid matriarch who juggled jobs, college, paying the bills, and caring for her six kids while they thrived between split households with their fathers and other mothers. She held many callings in church; but her favorites were always when she worked with children. She developed eternal friendships in her callings and found support, solace and comfort in the women she worked with. She was an extraordinary baker and cook. Colleen mastered countless recipes and would bake/cook anything you wanted at any time, even if what you wanted wasn't what was for dinner; and there was always dessert! She shared everything she owned and was the most giving person you could ever meet. She constantly delighted her grandchildren as they reaped countless rewards from this loving talent. She loved nourishing people, spending time with them and tended to embrace the chaos around her with a smile on her face and a firm handle on discipline. What a woman she was!Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Fulton; and two siblings. She is survived by her Mother, Catherine Miller; and nine siblings; as well as her six children, Jayme (Aimee), Heather (Bart), Laura (Christopher), Nathon (Erinn), Rachelle (Taylor) and Korey (Ashley); and her nineteen grandchildren, who each love her and one another dearly. We express our immense gratitude to each of the patient medical staff, selfless drivers, and sweet friends who lovingly tended to her for so many years through her battle with End Stage Renal Failure. They loved her, cared for her, brought her life, joy, and vitality, for years. May God bless them all as they served her in ways that can never be repaid.
