My condolences to the Crawford family. May God give you peace, strength, and comfort today and in the days to come. Although I only met Mr. Robert once, I felt as if I had known him for years. My friend and his niece, Rhonda Coleman, spoke of him fondly and often. He was a very present and guiding force in her life. He loved her unconditionally and treated her as if she were his own daughter. He was her uncle, confidant, friend, counselor, minister, and father figure. I thank him for being there for her and truly caring about her. Because of him, Rhonda is strong, confident, spiritual, and able to love herself and others. His genuine kindness had a lasting impression on me. Rest in paradise, sir.

If you would like help with any matters related to casualty assistance, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. you can contact our office on Buckley SFB at 720-847-6693. The RAO is staffed by volunteers, all military retirees themselves, and our sole purpose is to provide assistance to any military retirees and surviving spouses/family members with anything related to their military service and/or benefits, in particular during difficult times such as this.
