Brother Fred attended my church and was a very special man whom we all loved very much! I loved singing specials during our services with him. His deep voice was so wonderful to hear. He loved the Lord Jesus and everyone knew that! We will miss him so very much! His voice will now ring out among the angels ! We will join you soon Brother Fred! Sister Debbie

I had the privilege of meeting CSM Mizell (Fred) when he picked me and a couple of my subordinates up at the airport after returning from a deployment to Somalia. Right off the bat I knew there was something special about him, since it wasn't common practice for a Sergeant Major to welcome a small group of soldiers back from a deployment. That privilege extended to me working for him for the next 3 years. It was during that time that I found out he was a Christian, which made it so much easier to understand why he was such a great soldier and leader. Fred was the epitome of professionalism and I was in awe of his capacity for patience and understanding. He literally had the patience of a saint. After we retired from the Army we made time to have lunch occasionally. Fred was always working hard, but still found time for witnessing to others about Christ's mercy and goodness. I'm saddened that God took him home so soon, but I look forward to seeing him again when God calls me home as well. In the meantime I will be praying for his family and they have my deepest sympathies.

Met Fred in 2005 when he was a camp director. What a nice guy and soldier friendly! Later he worked for me with CSA as a trainer.

I want to offer my deepest condolences to you his family. Fred was an awesome Christian man who was so into politics and his particular view on the end times. We had so many discussions about his faith and the path our country would be going under Biden. I just heard about his passing this evening and my heart aches over the too early loss of such a good man. He was always available to help out and go the extra mile. He will be missed by all who knew him in Kuwait.
