I have been thinking about Sally a lot lately and just heard this news yesterday! I'm so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. Sally was always so sweet when she would come get her hair done with me! Always such a warm and welcoming presence. She will be so missed. ❤️

I am so sad to discover this. We had not heard from her in her normal time and new at her last appointment she was having a tough time. Sally has been a client and friend of myself at Salon 21 for 30ish years! She has been with our salon for everything for years. We loved Sally. We loved her as a client in the salon. Always had a smile on her face and spoke so fondly of her grandchildren❤️ She loved her family so much. Loved her FaceTime calls with her sister too. We miss her and will always miss her. Wish we would have known of her passing to have attended her celebration of life. Thank you Sally for being a superb client and friend. We love you.

I met Sally while attending Pikes Peak Community College in the '80's. Like everyone has said, Sally knew no strangers. She was an incredible lady and we supported each other in the classes we took together. She attended my wedding in '83 and caught the bouquet I tossed! Sorry Bill, it was meant to be for you both after that! I'm so happy you two had a wonderful marriage together. I know her love knew no bounds for her children and grands. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Sharon Kortrey

What I have cherished most about Sally is her open heart - Sally never met a stranger. She simply liked people and enjoyed friendships and relationships. She and Bill shared a love that was deep and devoted, made all the stronger by their love of the Lord. She called Bill her soul mate. She cherished her daughter and grandchildren, and her love for her sisters and cousins and their family was all-encompassing. She touched many lives on many levels: her music, her crafts, her enthusiasm. Her greatest legacy is one of joyful, generous love. Love you, precious sister.

Sally's leaving earth left a hole larger than the Grand Canyon, and she will be missed by so many. She could love unconditionally with her whole being, and forgive at the drop of a hat. Her greatest need was peace and she would do anything or spend any amount of money to have it or create it. She would give the shirt off her back and ask if you want the purse to match. Apparently, no one took her up on the purse because she left boxes of purses. She was the greatest ‘big' sister, always an advocate for her younger siblings. She met the love of her life, Bill (Sweety-Pie) nearly 45 years ago and accepted and loved their blended family as one. They shared one son and three daughters, one grandson and 3 granddaughters and two great grandchildren. She loved all her friends and talked of them often. You were so special to her. Her talents ran far and wide, from macrame' to candles, to basket weaving but her true joy was her music. I remember in elementary school when her music teacher (Smitty) discovered there just wasn't a musical instrument she couldn't play. At one time or another, most have heard her play, or sing. She has left behind her earthly harp to play a Heavenly one, and I'll look forward to hearing her again someday. My memories could fill a vault, my "minds eye" picture of her is always smiling. Her legacy is her love. Sally, until I see you again, thank you for being a representative of God on Earth! I miss you here.

Mommy, there is so much to say about your compassion to others and how extremely talented you were, not just at the organ but at literally every musical instrument from the harp, clavietta, banjo, you could play anything and sing anything. You were always the life of the crowd and knew everyone. Your legacy will live on through me and my children, so you will remain as proud of us in Heaven as you were in life. You were our life Mommy. Rest in peace my Queen. - Sara
