I wrote this poem. I pray it will bring comfort to you. I am so sad for your loss. Oh love, so like the Autumn bough, One moment's majesty... Then one by one the bonds decay And leave a barren tree. Autumn leaves falling, falling From the branches where they grew. But winter chill brings heavy snow And should the leaves remain, The weight would bend and break the bough And fill my life with pain.
