Obituary of Master Chief Yeoman Franklin Chadwick Richard, US Navy,...

Franklin C. Richard was born on March 16, 1933 in Nantucket, Massachusetts to Nestor and Harriet Richard. After high school, he joined the United States Navy in November 1951. He married Barbara Jane Richard on June 14,1958. They had six children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Franklin was dedicated to his wife and provided for his family. He loved to run, read, and watch his game shows.He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jane (Hayes) Richard; his brother, Eugene Richard; and his sister, Florence Armstrong.
