Obituary of Ned Randall Blackburn

Ned Randall Blackburn, 51, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away October 28, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born March 29, 1970, to William Blackburn and Nancy Smith in Sacramento, California. Ned went to high school at Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs and graduated in 1988. He went on to earn a certificate in Water Treatment from the State of Colorado. He was a U.S. Navy Aircraft Electrician for eight years and most recently worked as a water operator for the Ute Water Conservation District in Grand Junction for ten years. Ned enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing and spending time with family.He is survived by his son, Cade Blackburn; parents, William Blackburn and Nancy Smith; stepfather, Walter Smith; uncle, Ron Blackburn; sister, Amy and her husband, Jerry Huffman; brother, Eric and his wife, Nicole Blackburn; nephews, Colton and Kyle Huffman, and Ryan, Brandon, Colin, Nathan, and Aaron Blackburn; nieces, Juliet Church, Ashlyn and Avery Huffman.
