Good afternoon Blackburn family. It is with much sadness that I write this message and send my most sincere condolences. Ned and I were bunk bed partners in Company 022 during boot camp from October to December 1988. We developed a very strong bond, a friendship. I tried to find him throughout the years with no luck. I tried to find any information about him online when I came across the sad news. One thing I will always remember, how important his family was to him, he spoke to me constantly about his sister Amy, and his brother Eric. I had the pleasure of meeting his Mother, Sister and Brother on OSU night during boot camp. Hope this message finds you well. Once again, my most sincere condolences.
