Obituary of Ethel Fenner
Ethel Fenner, 76, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away December 18, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ethel was born on December 27, 1944 to Ruby Harper and Eddie Moore in Chicago, Illinois. She was a crossing guard till she married Gerald Fenner in 1972. Ethel and Gerald were married for thirty-four years where they parented four wonderful children. Ethel was a homemaker, until she rejoined the work force in 2001 with the Gold Chip Factory, until its closing in 2008. Ethel was a kind and compassionate woman, with a good sense of humor. She loved her family, spending time with her grandkids, Kenneth and Zion, sewing, word search puzzles and music. As well as Bettie Davis and Sidney Poitier movies.She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Ruby Moore; her son, Andrae Fenner; her sister, Elaine Martin, and her brother; Eddie Martin.Ethel is survived by her daughters, Tanya Fenner and Jion Marie Fenner; her son, Paul John (Rona) Fenner; her grandsons, Kenneth Clifton Fenner and Zion Martin Fenner; her sister, Patricia (Arthur) Land; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Friday, January 28, 2022, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.Mask/facial coverings required to attend.The service will be streamed live.
