How can I put in words what you meant to me, Buzzy and Tiffany besides saying we are all grateful to have had you as our Aunt not by blood but by love. You were and always will be my mom's bestfriend and Sister. You watched me being born and you never missed a beat. I remember all of your phone calls, cards and pictures you shared of you and the kids memories I will forever cherish. Even as you and my mom grew with time you never allowed the distance to separate the love you had for us. You called faithfully and texted more worried about mom not sharing the fact that you yourself was sick. Time will not heal the fact we are losing you, but your smile and smooth voice and distinctive laugh will forever live in our hearts. Save a seat for me love you much your Nikki from Chicago. ❤❤❤

Ethel - My dear cousin Ethel Martin. My 'first cousin. Our mothers were sisters. We grew up together, along with all the other cousins. Our youthful experiences were plentiful. We used to say," The Westside is the best side of Chicago!" We attended school together, we played together, hung underneath the el tracks and dropped water filled balloons on passersby. (we were rather mischievous). We bought plenty penny candy from the corner store. We dreamed together, schemed together and ate those 'fabulous bologna sandwiches. We knew the same family secrets, and we just joked around. Oh yeah, you were Uncle John's 'favorite too!! We were kids playing in front of the building and looking out for our grandmother, 'Big Mama (Nancy Brazelton) who kept a watchful eye on us, peeking through the venetian blinds. We grew up and you married and moved away as Mrs. Fenner. I just want to say, " You mean the world to me." 'HOW RICHLY BLESSED I feel because we shared the same times and space. We're special-cousins we will always be-friends from the same family tree. You're gone and I shed tears; but when I think about your legacy- Jion, Tanya (Zion) and Paul (Kenneth) I can feel grateful for tomorrow because of yesterday. In life I loved you dearly. In death I love you still. It broke my heart to lose you, but God took you home. We talked on the phone. You said," I'm leaving." You were gone before I knew it! Heaven and earth may separate us- But nothing will ever change the fact that we are 'First Cousins' and I Love You Still!!!
