What a beautiful lady with a most spectacular voice! I got to take voice lessons from her for a time. She gave me direction and taught me to open my throat. We need to know that all on heaven are enjoying her. I hope you are doing good Cindy. My mom is still with us at 92. Nancy (Tarr) Stanford...

I just noticed Dorothy's obit in the paper today. I've known Dorothy since we were in Junior High School. We didn't stay in touch after our school years but I would see her once in awhile walking her grandchildren in the park as we lived in the same neighborhood. She had a beautiful voice and sang at our wedding 65 years ago! She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by her family. Janet Berridge ,

Dorothy was so sweet spirited and I loved hearing her sing in the NBC Chapels. I also crossed paths with her at the NBC once a year faculty dinner, I just a spouse. She was kind. NBC had quite the choir for a time. So glad for Dorothy's voice instruction. She will be missed but as joined the heavenly choir. Susan McKeithen

I (Debbie Halverson, niece) have such fond memories of Aunt Dorothy. Years ago our two families went on a picnic in Palmer Park together, and I think someone had a guitar so that we could sing some songs! Aunt Dorothy was always gracious and kind--I never heard a cross word from her, and I never heard her complain or speak poorly of anyone. She was an encourager, and she loved her family dearly! I will miss her sweet spirit, beautiful countenance, and amazing singing voice!
