Dearest Kathy, Krysha, Kayla, Adam, Kenna and family, While I cannot possibly know the level of grief that has entered your lives, I wanted to let you know of the great impact Ken's life had on so many of us, his friends. As you know so well, Ken's kindness and humanity were a massive part of his everyday life. Everyone he met was important to him, and I never saw him belittle anyone. Ken was a strong and fierce warrior, but he always had time for a hug. I admired him, I envied him, I loved him like a brother. I don't know that I've ever met a more gentle soul than Ken, or one who loved his family more. While I know that Ken enjoyed his career very much, I also know how much it hurt him to be away from his family so much. And what an incredible family! Ken took such great delight in speaking about Kathy, the kids and the grand-kids, and in the last few years, that's about all he ever wanted to talk about. He loved you so much; I only hope you all know that. We will all miss him terribly.

So sorry to hear of Kens passing. We crossed paths in the Air Force many times over the years. Ken took my position as #9 on the Snowbirds in 1988 after my 2 years were finished. He was a gentle man who attracted many friends. He was a good man. RIP.

Ken and Kathy introduced me to my wife in Bagotville Quebec, in 1984. We stayed in touch in RAF Valley, Wales, while we were both on exchange with the RAF. I followed them through NORAD in C Springs, then SWA. My greatest regret was not seeing these wonderful people in person, over the years. I never forgot though…

Our sincere condolences to Ken's family and friends as they mourn his passing. I was one of Ken's course mates on his CF pilot training course, 8105. Ken was instrumental in pulling our course together into a tight knit group. He was a wonderful, warm person. Attached photo was taken after our land survival course in Oct 1981.

Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great friend and an excellent pilot taken from us far too soon. He always had a smile on his face and he had such an easy going disposition. Ken was a positive influence to everyone whose life he had touched. I will miss his sage wisdom and advice, and I will miss his friendship. Our deepest condolences go to Kathy, Krysha, Adam, Kayla, Kenna, grandkids and all the extended Rae family. RIP Ken, "Cheers eh"!

I had the pleasure of spending many years flying with Ken in the Air Force; F5 training at 419 ,colleagues at 434 and ultimately team mates on the Snowbirds. We shared many happy and exciting days but also some terribly trying ones. He was an excellent pilot but much better person, husband and proud father. From the lovely photos it obviously made him equally happy to be around his grand children and extended family. Rest In Peace Bowser.

As a second cousin, I am sad that I did not get to know Ken better. Kathy and Family please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Ken and I were course mates learning and playing together while trying to earn our Military Wings in Moose Jaw. If my memory serves me right, we were separated on course from Ken after he took a hockey puck to the face and had to take a medical leave of absence, he loved his hockey! I will always remember Ken for his warm smile, calm demeanor and duty to his craft. May his wings continue to carry him on high. Tracy T. (Dragon 525), and Diane Tyndall.
