Obituary of Michael Edward McGuire

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, Michael McGuire, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 36, in his home surrounded by loved ones. Michael was born on December 21, 1985, in Mission Viejo, California to Mark and Bonnie McGuire. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, in 2008. He joined the Air Force in 2015, was sworn into the Space Force in 2020, and enjoyed serving his country until his date of death. On October 8, 2012 he married Megan Haggard and they went on to welcome one son, Mark, and one daughter, Samantha. Michael was an amazing father who always dressed up for Halloween, birthday parties, and Christmas photos. He cherished every moment with his children and loved reading various book series to Mark at night. He was the best husband, always making sure that his wife knew he believed and supported her throughout their entire relationship.He was an incredible son who constantly made his mother proud throughout his lifetime. He was a one-of-a-kind co-worker who found a way to inspire and encourage those he worked with. He was known for always making a silly face in photos, being extremely handy around the house and always wanting to do it himself, and being the type of person who could get along with anyone. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Megan; his two children, Mark and Samantha; his mother, Bonnie; and his sisters, Christy and Katie.
