Chavela Pacheco, 78, was called to heaven May 2, 2022. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born on January 23, 1944, to Margarito Pacheco and Lazarita (Sanchez) Pacheco in Las Vegas, New Mexico.Chavela was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.She is preceded in death by her parents, Margarita and Lazarita Pacheco; brother, David Pacheco; and sisters, Dora Hacker and Clorinda Martinez.�Chavela is survived by her children, Debra (Fred) Simonetti of Henderson, Nevada, and Marilyn (Paul) Ripple of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Wayne Parson (Socorro), and Linda Parson; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Anthony, Salvador, Noah and baby, Socorro; brothers and sisters, Leroy Pacheco of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Virginia (Victor) Romero of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Angie Pacheco of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Dolores (Chris) Vigil of Corrales, New Mexico, Richard Pacheco, Lorraine (Joseph) Martinez and �Loretta Pacheco all of Las Vegas, New Mexico; uncle, Maricio (Maria) Pacheco of Las Vegas, New Mexico; aunts, Rose Martinez of Tecolote, New Mexico and Mary Ulibarri of Las Vegas, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.�A Celebration of Life will be held in Las Vegas, New Mexico at a later date.
