My best memories of grammy as a child were taking us swimming, always giving us Carmel candies, taking us to bingo with our cousins and setting up all her colorful lucky trolls to bring us luck, making homade tortillas/sopapillas/chili etc. Her hands might have always hurt but she was a mean chef and could mix that dough like no one's business. Haha Another thing I'll never forget is that woman always dressed up to the nines and smelled good. She was beautiful inside and out even though she had her tough side. She might have been stern but she always told it how it was. As an adult my best memories were spending holidays together, shopping and spending time with her and the family and laughing our socks off. She was my best friend and Grammy. I could tell her anything and we would laugh until our stomachs hurt. I'm going to miss you so much Grammy but you're no longer in pain or suffering and that gives me peace. I love you with all my heart and will forever miss you.❤️❤️❤️

MY deepest condolences to all of Chavela E. Pacheco family. I knew her when we were both young and it turned out things did not work out. However I always as a person she loved her family very very much and did the best She could in life. May the Good Lord have a special place in Heaven for her and treat her special. Sense of humor she had and I wish she had found a good man who could be her friend for life. Rest in peace Chavela Rip . I just found this posting regarding her passing. The picture looks just like Her when I first met her in the 60's.
