Obituary of Eric John Beehler

Eric John Beehler, 48, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 with his family by his side. Eric was born on January 16, 1974 at Fort Lewis Army Base (now Joint Base Lewis McChord) near Tacoma, Washington. Eric's dad was career Army so he lived and grew up in Stuttgart, Germany, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Frankfurt, Germany, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Music was always an important part of Eric's life. He loved and recorded his own music on the family's sound system at the age of three. He began playing trumpet in the fourth grade, and he grew to be a talented musician. After his family settled in Colorado Springs, Eric went to Doherty High School where he met his high-school sweetheart, Elena Hall. They started their family in 1993, and later married on November 30, 1996. Eric earned his Bachelor of Computer Science from The University of Phoenix followed by a Master of Business Administration from The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He began working for Regional Transportation of Denver in 2010, commuting to and from Denver daily. Eric was also an adjunct professor at Colorado Technical University for several years. Eric was extremely proud of his children, Amanda, Andrew, and Alissa. He was a wonderful father who encouraged his children to be the best they can. As a family, we will miss the long, drawn-out conversations we would have over anything and everything, the laughter and goofiness, and overall, his steadfast presence. Eric is survived by his wife, Elena; his children, Amanda (Natalie), Andrew and Alissa; his parents Dale and Yoni Beehler; and his brother Daniel. He leaves behind extended family and numerous friends. Eric's loss will be felt tremendously by all who knew him.
