Sandy Lynn Coughlin (Barfoot)

For 73 years Sandy graced this earth and created beautiful memories for all who knew her!

She was the most giving, caring, beautiful person inside and out. Her smile brought warmth to the room, and joy to the hearts of all. Sandy loved books, the outdoors, animals, live theatre, movies, music, flowers, volunteering at the local library , feeding the birds, peanuts for the squirrels, family vacations to national parks, and her beloved black and white dogs!

Her most prized and adored part of this life though was her family. She was a daddy’s girl and held a special connection in her heart with “Mother”.

My mom Sandy was, and always will be my hero!

She was proceeded in death by her father, L. Hale Barfoot; and mother, Emily Ruth Robbins.

She is survived by her sisters, Sharon Holmes, and Gayle Pitt; Brother-in-law, Tim Pitt; Son, Kevin Coughlin; nephews, Brian Holmes, and Cory Pitt; niece, Emily Hedrick; Nephew-in-law, Josh Hedrick; and grand-nephews, Atlas Hedrick and Orion Hedrick.
