Obituary of Frances A Worster

Frances A (Montgomery) Worster, July 27, 1943 to February 19, 2024

With deep sorrow we announce the death of our mom and grandma, Fran Worster.

Fran was born in Denver, CO on July 27, 1943 and was the daughter of Alton L. Montgomery and Vesta V. (Curtin) Montgomery. She grew up in Colorado Springs, graduating from Palmer High School and the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she developed her undying interest in international relations and politics. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two daughters, Christina and Connie (Don), and she adored her grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Victoria, Brandon and Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, and by her dear granddaughter, Victoria.

There was never a bigger animal lover than Fran, who was always the best friend to any creature with big eyes, a cold nose, paws and a tail. She always had a book in progress, and she enjoyed cheering on her favorite sports teams: the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and her beloved CU Buffaloes.

No services will be held as per Fran’s request. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite cause and hold your loved ones close to you. Mom and Grandma will be missed by us all.
