Obituary of James Milton Bagley
In loving memory of SFC James Milton Bagley Jr.
SFC James Milton Bagley Jr. was born on January 1, 1949 in Machias, Maine to James and Nettie Bagley. He passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home in Colorado Springs at the age of 75.

He was the recipient of the purple heart and two bronze stars. He was stationed in Germany, Vietnam, Hawaii, Alabama, Alaska, Massachusetts, and Colorado. After his military retirement, Jim provided security for local businesses including his 21 years at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.
Jim was a very talented musician and artist. He played the guitar, banjo, and drums at churches and family gatherings. He also drew comics for the military newspaper, airbrushed art on vehicles, carved statuettes out of wood, and did leatherwork. In his free time Jim enjoyed black powder hunting and preserving hides.
