Obituary of Kylie Calloway

Kylie Calloway, 6, passed away on January 20,2024 in Aurora, Colorado. 

Kylie was born on her Juh Juh’s birthday, August 14, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jessica and EJ Calloway. The moment they laid eyes on her they fell in love with her. Kylie had two amazing older siblings, Kameron (12) and Kaylen (10) that were always by her side. They advocated for her every chance they got. Kylie was born with a rare birth defect and was not given a long prognosis, but she defied ALL odds set against her. Kylie lived a very fun filled life full of traveling on planes, attending sporting events, playing in the sand on the beach, and even attending Disney World. Her life was nothing short of adventurous. 

She grew up with tons of love and support from the various sports her mom and dad coached. The boys and girls that grew up knowing her grew to love her as if she was their own sibling. She attended Weikel Elementary from Pre-k through 1st grade, just shy of four years. She even participated in all star cheerleading and won herself a national title! 

Kylie had the most beautiful big brown eyes and the most contagious smile. Every where she went that smile lit up the entire room. She was so full of love and happiness and knew nothing else. Everywhere she went she would shout “hi” and always wanted to snuggle anyone holding her. She loved giving sloppy kisses. Bubbles excited her. Popping them and knocking over blocks were two of her favorite things to do. Kylie always loved to be read to by her big sister, Kaylen, and she enjoyed playing fighting and licking her brother, Kameron. 
She had a love for Doc McStuffins. No matter what Kylie was going through hearing the theme song or seeing Doc McStuffins on the tv made her instantly feel better. Despite having a g-tube Kylie also loved blueberries and Cheetos.

Kylie is survived by her father, EJ Calloway; mother, Jessica Calloway; brother, Kameron Calloway; sister, Kaylen Calloway; grandparents, Tommi Moore, Tracy Davis, Nate Davis, Eldridge Calloway; aunties, Tiffani Bennett, April Moore, Briana Moore, Jamara Calloway; uncles, GT Moore, Alton Bennett, Tray Mizell, Arnez Reynolds; and tons of cousins, other family members, and millions of friends.
