Obituary of Michael Patrick Rael

Michael Patrick Rael, 56, passed away on January 22, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born on March 21, 1967, in Trinidad, Colorado.

Michael, who preferred to be called Mike, was a seasoned mechanic who excelled in his career.  While he loved his trade, his pride and joy were his wife and children.  He was a bright and loving soul, who brought happiness and joy to his family, friends and to all those he met in his journey through life.  A man with a big heart who was always ready to give a helping hand to whomever had a need. 

Mike was a dedicated Jets fan and loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed many fishing and camping trips throughout the years with his family and friends.  Mike will forever be remembered by his children as a funny, protective, supportive, loving father who they thought the world of.  

There are no words to describe the loss of such a loving person and he will remain in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded by his brother, David Rael.

Michael is survived by his mother, Jennie Rael; father, Michael Rael; wife, Adriana Rael; sons, Robert Rael and Kenny Rael; daughters, Brittany Valdez (Rael) and Jazmine Rael; brother, Chris Rael; sisters, Michelle Rael and Gina Rael; eight grandchildren, a plethora of in-laws, nieces and nephews.
