Obituary of Jerry Meany

Jerry Max Meany, 79, of Manitou Springs, Colorado passed away Tuesday December 12, 2023, at Penrose Main Hospital.

He was born July 31, 1944, to Louise and Ken Meany in Orange County, California.

Jerry graduated from high school in 1962. Jerry worked as a long haul trucker for N.W. Leprino for 40 years. He received many awards for his safe driving. He enjoyed history, politics, reading, and spending time with family.

He was a dedicated husband and father, always putting other before himself. He always tried to help those in need of any kind. He was a strong man in faith and prayed for all family members daily.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Meany.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Janet of Manitou Springs, Colorado; Sons, Sean Ryan Meany, and Daniel J. Meany, Max Meany II, and Michael Patrick Meany; Daughters, Crystal Atkinson, Michelle Meany, and Jerry Lynn Meany.
