Obituary of Julie Vannucci

We are sad to announce the passing of Julie Vannucci of Colorado Springs. She died at age 38 on September 25, 2023.

Julie was born on March 8, 1985 in El Paso, Texas, to Pedro and Margarita Caro. Julie was the youngest of four children, and as such, was very close to her parents. She attended Sierra High School before entering the workforce in mortgage lending. 

Julie had three children, James, Xavier and Carissa, who were her “world and heart." As a young mother, Julie was playful and full of energy with her children. She was married to Cole who was by her side until the end. Julie’s lightheartedness and radiant energy will be sorely missed. 

Julie was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Caro. 

She is survived by her husband, Cole Vannucci; her children, James Locke, Xavier Locke, and Carissa Locke; her parents, Pedro and Margarita Caro; and her siblings, Pedro Caro, Jr. and Blanca Rekar.
