We will miss Mrs. Jackie, a precious jewel and friend to many. She fought a good fight of faith and gained her heavenly reward for her love for the Lord. Blessings Tonkins family.

My dear friend Jackie…little did I know when Jackie’s daughter, Julie, joined my son’s Andrew and Billy’s band in the late 1990’s, a lifelong friendship with Jackie would commence. She was a special lady with a bundle of intelligence, energy, and goodwill to all she met. Our children married and we eventually shared grandchildren for the last 16 years. We often texted each other with our latest grandkid pics and our latest adventures. We shared the ups and downs of life with each other, she always had a deep faith guiding her way. I will miss her greatly! RIP dear Jackie.

The shock of Jackie’s passing hit me hard. Her friendship over the years is something many never have in a life time. Her love, her generosity, and her passion for life was infectious. The long conversations we had over the years, Jackie always made me feel heard. I know Jackie is in heaven with her Savior Jesus Christ, and Jesus was the foundation of many of our conversations. Her prayers for me as I am involved in politics as well as her encouragement was priceless. I will miss her but will see her again as we sing and dance together in Heaven with the Lord.
