Obituary of Robert Louis Brown

Robert Louis Brown, 85, of Ellicott, CO, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2023.

He was born on April 21, 1936, in Cripple Creek Colorado to Eva and Archie Brown. He spent his childhood at Pine Creek. Bob attended North Junior High and graduated from Colorado Springs High School (Palmer) later living on the old Westside.

Robert was a dedicated husband to his wife of 62 years, Linda L. Brown.

He was preceded in death by his sons Rick and Darryl Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda; his daughter Teresa Grant, (Juel); daughter-in-law Desiree Brown (Rick); nephew Charles Graner (Nancy); and grandson Brandon Brown.

After a couple years working at Robinson Dairy, Robert spent his entire working life at Sinton Diary, where he held many different positions during his 38 years employed there.

Outside of work, Robert had a passion for gardening and caring for horses, chickens, goats, and cheering on his loved Rockies and Broncos. He also enjoyed hunting/fishing and spending time in nature and a trip to Cripple Creek with loved ones.  Robert was a caring, generous man and was always there to lend a hand to family and friends.

We are grateful for Pikes Peak Hospice Palliative Care who surrounded us all in peace, love, and compassion.  A special Thanks to Nancy and Chub Graner and Tina Randolph (Graner) Desiree Brown, Karen Miller and Mitch for their unwavering caring, support and thoughtfulness.

His thoughtful presence and peaceful soul will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held October 14th, 2023, to honor and remember Bob’s life. Friends and family are invited to reach out to Teresa and Juel at: juel_t@q.com for details.

Life
Ever flowing
From one mystery
Into another
Those of us left behind
To carry on
In the wake of your passing
Call your name
And in our remembering
Summon the light of your life
To once again
Shine upon our own
