Obituary of Lee Alan Gomolchak
Lee A. Gomolchak was a retired systems engineer from Lockheed Martin. He worked on the Titan IV Program as well as numerous other integral Target and Countermeasure Programs during his 32 years with the company.
After retiring, he followed his passion and started a vocation in bamboo fly rod making. Lee was a master craftsman, focusing his talent on hand making bamboo fly rods and teaching others how to do the same. He loved the outdoors and found peace wading in rivers and fishing with a bamboo rod. He was a member of Colorado Rodmakers Reunion, Southern Rodmakers Gathering, Northern Rodmakers Gathering, Trout Unlimited, and Healing Waters. He was a chef extraordinaire and loved being in the kitchen. He loved his family and serving the Lord.
Lee is survived by is wife of 42 years, Diane; his mother Josephine; his daughter Jenner and her husband Sean, their two boys Declan, Emmett, and daughter Evelyn; his son John and his wife Carrie, and their two daughters Shalynn and Sydney.
