Daniel D'Agnese

Obituary of Daniel Parker D'Agnese

Daniel Parker D’Agnese, 20, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2023.

He was born October 2, 2002 to Candi and Daniel D’Agnese in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Daniel went to school K-12 at The Classical Academy and graduated in 2021. During his senior year, Daniel won a Silver Medal from Scholastic Art and Writing at the national level for his writing portfolio. He attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), and had completed his sophomore year. In his time at UCCS, he made the Dean’s List and the President’s List majoring in writing and then philosophy.

Daniel was kind and enjoyed helping others. He looked for ways to give back from picking up trash on his walks in the neighborhood to assisting fellow college classmates. He loved writing and sharing his thoughts with others whether through short stories, novels, or poems to self-publishing 2 books under his pen name, Daniel Redd. Daniel was blessed to have wonderful group of college friends, that loved and cared for each other without judgement. They enjoyed getting together for lunch and other activities like pizza and crocheting. Daniel had a variety of interests throughout his life from sharks to reading books to crocheting to his faith. He loved animals and reptiles especially his dogs, Boomer and Copper, and frogs. Nothing was too small or furry for him to show love and kindness to. Daniel strived to provide love, peace, and respect to those who came in contact with him.

Daniel is preceded in death by his older brother, C.D. D’Agnese; and his grandparents, Marjie and Noel Park, and Frances and Fred D’Agnese.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Candi and Dan D’Agnese; and his sister, Ashley (and Mark) Roberts of Colorado Springs, CO; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from all over.
