Margie, as she was known to her family and friends, spent most of her life as a loving wife, an adoring mother, a doting grandmother, and a caring sister and selfless friend. She loved everything to do with family, nothing made her smile bigger or gave her more joy. She loved baking for every occasion, her cake decorating skills were legendary, not a birthday, anniversary, or event passed without one of her famously delicious cakes present. She enjoyed sharing those talents with the residents of the local rehab center. She loved arts and crafts, making her own decorations or gifts for other was a favorite pastime. Her love of scrapbooking has left her family with years of memories that will never be forgotten or replaced. Her love of the holidays was second to none, she would go “all out” for every holiday including Halloween, dressing up her husband as the Tooth Fairy or any other outrageous character and sending him off to work, or the 4th of July, but it was Christmas that was her favorite and brought hundreds past her house to see, including the local evening news. When asked why, “I like to make people smile” was her response. She was beloved my many for her selfless and thoughtful nature. Not a birthday passed without her calling and singing Happy Birthday to everyone on their special day.
Preceded in death by her father, Warren Stolle; her mother Florence VanZant; her brothers George, Dougie and Bobby, all certainly there to welcome her with open arms and loving hearts.
