Obituary of Gerald Joseph Martinez

Gerald Joseph Martinez passed away on August 11, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 60, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.  

Gerald was born October 18, 1962 in Denver, Colorado.   

He is preceded in death by his Father, Seferino E. Martinez; and mother, Flora Martinez.  

He is survived by his brother, Sef (Sherry); sisters, Yolanda (Anthony), Cynthia; brother, David (Diana); nephews, Seferino (Kara) and Nicholas; and nieces, Graciela and Anabelle.  

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Gerald. An avid outdoorsman, he loved riding his bike, traveling to coastal locations so he could spend time at the beach, and camping.
