Obituary of Bridgett Colleena Abeyta Shem-Tov

Bridgett Colleena Abeyta Shem-Tov, 36, affectionately known as "Bee", Mom and Sissy, passed away unexpectedly in August, 2023.

During her time in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs with a BA in Psychology and was working on a Masters Degree. She was passionate about many studies and helped create a non-profit for homeless college students. She loved meeting and engaging with all people, and it was evident most recently in her career as Talent Acquisition for All Native Groups. 

She had so many talents, an accomplished snow-boarder, traveler, and fisher; but her proudest accomplishment was being Mom to Kyra and Christopher, and spending any time she could with them. She is a beloved Mom, Sister, Daughter, and Friend to all who knew her in her short time.

She will deeply be missed every day of every moment for her infectious laugh and happiness she exuded.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Rena Abeyta.

She is survived by her daughter, Kyra Tso; son, Christopher Moreno; siblings, Tonita Gonzalez, Toni Wolfe, Natasha Abeyta, Quinten Abeyta, and Giovanni Abeyta; nieces, nephews, and many more loved ones.

She will be laid to rest in Flagstaff, Arizona in the near future.
