Obituary of Robbin Eugene Barton

Robbin Eugene Barton passed away peacefully on the morning of July 21, 2023 at the age of 64 in Falcon, Colorado after his battle with pancreatic cancer. 

He was born on May 26, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to Ben and Betty Barton. In the summer of 1981, he was coerced by his sister to attend a youth roller skate party where he met LaVon Fisher. They married 11 months later on May 16, 1982! 

Robbin’s career began at an early age when he fell in love with form setting and worked for his father’s company, Barton Brothers. In 1985, he brought Barton Brothers to Colorado Springs. In 2012, Robbin started his own company, Barton Concrete Forming. 

Robbin and LaVon have three beautiful daughters: Kelli, Kimberly and Krystal; who brought into the family three wonderful sons: Jonathan, Sam and Robbie. In 2013, the family began to grow again when grandchildren came on the scene. Five grandchildren and three grand-pups later, Robbin’s "Papa" title was earned. 

Robbin enjoyed spending time with his family, jeeping and four-wheeling, tubing on the rivers, hiking; and if you lost him on the trail, you could always find him in a berry patch. 

Robbin is survived by his parents, Ben and Betty; his wife LaVon; his daughters,  Kelli (Jonathan) Carlson, Kimberly (Sam) Sanchez, and Krystal (Robbie) Burnham; his grandchildren, Grace, Larke, and Jase Carlson, Sammy Sanchez, and Jasper Burnham; and his two sisters and their families.
