Obituary of Carol Louise Stuart

Carol was born on December 9, 1937 in the neighborhood of Dorchester, in Boston, Massachusetts to Roland and Verna Brake. 

She married William January in 1955 and they had two children, Kevin and William. 

She started a quilting guild called Crosstown Quilters, and was very active in creating quilts until just a few years ago when age and arthritis dictated differently. 

She was moved to Colorado in 2007 due to health issues, and made many friends since arriving. She remained fairly active until recently, and she received her diagnosis of Leukemia too late to really be able to do anything about it. 

She will be missed by family and friends, but she is now in a better place with the Lord.
