Obituary of Clarissa Ann Goff

Clarissa Ann Goff, 81, of Peyton, Colorado passed away May 2, 2023 in Peyton, Colorado. 

She was born on December 21, 1941 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to William and Joyce Hawthorne.

She was very proud to have taken care of her mother till she passed.

She raised three great children. She was proud of them all. 

Her travels have taken her to many places including Germany, Mexico, New York, New Mexico and Colorado. She has written many poems throughout her life. Some of her poems have been published. 

After raising her kids, she became Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed taking care of other people, especially the elderly.

Her walls were covered with pictures of her family, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was proud of them all. She smiled when she spoke about her family. She only had words of encouragement for them all. 

Clarissa is survived by her husband, Jerry Goff; her children, Fred, Jon, and Deanna; her twelve grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Hawthorne.

Her warm heart and soul will be missed.

She was laid to rest in the Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado.
