Obituary of James Arthur Doughty

James A. Doughty, passed age 52, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2 2023, UC Health Memorial Hospital, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born October 7, 1970 in Nashville, North Carolina.

He married Sandra Marie Doughty on March 22, 2021 in Denver, Colorado. 

He worked as a commercial painter. James truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures with family and friends. Also spending time with children here in Denver. 

He has ten children, four step-children from his wife Sandra Doughty, and numerous grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Allen) Doughty; also surviving is his mother, Roxie Doughty; sisters, Betty Gaddis (Raleigh, North Carolina) Laura Doughty, Sylvia Perry, Carolyn Doughty, and Cynthia Holt (Middlesex, North Carolina).

His father and one sister preceded in his death, James A. Doughty; and sister, Melissa Doughty.

James Doughty will be flown back home to Nashville, North Carolina Where his funeral will be held with his family and friends.
