Obituary of Betty Jean Ferguson

Betty Ferguson, 92, passed away April 14, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

She was born on August 26, 1930 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Winson Leroy Summers and Ida Jane (Maddox) Summers.

Betty went to high school at Golden, Colorado and graduated in 1950. She was life member of VFW and American Legion. 

Betty worked for Gates Rubber for twenty years. 

She also worked as a Journeyman Bookbinder for a printing shop. 

Betty enjoyed travel, family, crafts, and music. 

She had a kind heart and gentle spirit. Always ready to help anyone that needed it. She'll always be missed and never forgotten. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ferguson; brothers, Orville Summers of Nevada, Missouri, Allen Summers of Jerome, Idaho.

Betty was survived by her sister, Peggy Hedbog of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her son, Thomas Delon of Frisco, Texas; and seventeen Nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
