Obituary of Eldon Wayne Anderson

Eldon Wayne “Andy” Anderson, 77, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 21, 2023. 

He was born on August 9, 1945 to Eldon Anderson and Esther Alice Dobbins in Emmetsburg, Iowa. 

Andy went to high school at Chetek High School in Chetek, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1963. 

After graduation, Andy served in the Air Force as a photographer for four years. During his service, Andy served three tours in Vietnam. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for Wonder Bread for twenty-five years. After retiring from Wonder bread, he drove a truck for American Furniture Warehouse and American Dairy Farmer.  

Andy loved watching the Denver Broncos play. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and performed in the rodeo.  

He always looked forward to the annual camping and hunting trips with family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Esther (Dobbins) Anderson; and his sister, Jan Dewey. 

Andy is survived by his wife, Doris Anderson; daughter, Debbie (Terry) Davidson; son, David (Angela) Anderson; stepsons, Don Shuck, Bruce (Deni) Kidwell, and Brian Kidwell; stepdaughter, DebbY Harmon; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Elaine), and Bruce (Amy); and sister Diana (Mitch) Thompson.
