Obituary of Benjamin Zachary Livengood

Benjamin Zachary Livengood   1987 - 2023

Benjamin "Ben" Zachary Livengood, 36, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 12, 2023 in Colorado Springs. He passed of cardiac arrest at home in his sleep after learning of a severe heart condition he had along with congestive heart failure that was being treated as best they could. 

He was born March 10, 1987 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, where both parents, Deanna and Ken, were serving in the Air Force.  
Ben graduated from Doherty High School in 2005.  He spent a few years trying to figure out what to do with his life and later went to technical school and graduated in 2015 with an Associate's degree in Refrigeration and HVAC Technologies at the top of his class! He worked in HVAC for six years, and more recently had started his own business, “Livengood Repairs”.  

He loved being outdoors, snowboarding, camping, fishing, bowling, woodworking, gardening, concerts, and mostly building things.  He loved being with his family and friends.

Ben is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Eva Stinson; aunt, Debbie; and uncles, Dan and Vito.  

Ben is survived by his mother, Deanna Livengood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brother, Vince Livengood of Florence, Colorado; his sister, Melanie Livengood of Overland Park, Kansas; two half-sisters, Erica of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Vanessa of Sedalia, Missouri; two nieces; four nephews; Aunt Daphne and Uncle Frank of Chantilly, Virginia; and six cousins and their families from all over the United States.
