She was born on September 16, 1929 in Houston, Texas to James and Ola (Ellis) Wilkins.
Evelyn was a Nurses Aid.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Jane Ola Stockdale, Cheryl Joyce Johnson, Phyllis Marie Turner, Judith Lee Johnson-Frazier, and Melvin B. Johnson Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ola Wilkins.
