Obituary of Arthur Leroy Griego

Arthur Leroy Griego, 75, passed away on January 23, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. Arthur was born on December 31, 1947 in Alamosa, Colorado, to his mother, Rose Griego, and father, Gilbert Griego. As a child, he was raised with five siblings, Gloria, Gary, Annie, Ernie and Martha.

In 1965, as life progressed, he married Julia Theresa and they were married for fifty-five years. They had seven beautiful children, Kenneth, Bobby, Ricky, Antionette, Jerry, Carl, and Julia. In addition to his children, he also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Lennie, Anthony, Bobby, Adrea, Alyssa, Kaslyne, Ricky, and Jazz; and four great-grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Angel, and Lakodta.

Not one person who crossed paths with Arthur Griego missed his infectious passion for his work and non-work activities; painting, playing pool, and doing concrete work. He was known on the pool table for being a man with much game and always having a trick up his sleeve. Arthur passed down this passion for pool to his kids. In addition, Arthur has left the legacy of now having a third generation successful concrete company passed to his sons.

In death he follows his wife, Julia Griego; his youngest child, Julia Griego; his son-in-law, Lennie Sr.; and his beloved mother and father.
