I just found out about Louis' death today. I'm so sad. I knew Louis from his job at High Country Healing. I've known him for more than 6 years. I was a rep that visited the store every couple months or so. In our conversations he was always welcoming, always big hearted, always gentle and warm. It's strange to only see someone every 2 months but to feel like you knew them. He spoke lovingly of Samantha and Jayden, numerous times. There was a glow of pride when speaking of Jayden. We also discussed his father's death a few times. I don't understand this death, but I have come to believe that we are here, all of us, to learn how to love one another. Those who leave us early, I believe, have discovered this secret quicker than the rest. For me, Louis was one of those. I'm wrecked that he is gone (and that I missed his funeral) but I'm convinced that he is in joy and will lend a loving hand (if possible)to help those whom he loved here. RIP dear friend. You are already missed. Joe Uveges

Louis was a sweet young man who had a lot of joy and love in his heart for Jayden and Samantha. We're so sad that he can no longer be a part of everyone's lives. Very sad. All of our sympathies for his family and friends.

Lou called me "Grannie". My best memories of Louis was at Thanksgiving a year ago in Loveland, CO where he, Samantha and Jayden joined the family for Dinner celebration and the rest of the day. Lou gleefully watched our crazy bunch as we traditionally sang along with Arlo Guthrie singing 'Alice's Restaurant'. The song lasts about 18 minitues, a tradition started by Samantha's grandfather, Harold, 40 or more years ago. "Ok now wait for it, when it comes around.".......da da da....."You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant" He laughed and smiled and sang with us as this went on and on! We join the rest of the family in the struggle to understand his death. No words can describe the feelings. We send heartfelt love to Samantha, Jayden, Shantel and all the rest of Louis's family.
