Obituary of Karen Lee Majors

Karen Lee Majors, 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 14, 2023 after suffering from dementia for several years. She was born October 5, 1943 in Valdosta, Georgia, to Raymond and Alice Schnebel, and raised in Fremont, Nebraska until she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1965. Karen and her husband Frank were longtime residents of Manitou Springs, Colorado and the west side of Colorado Springs, Colorado, where they were apartment managers up until their retirement in 2004. Her beautiful smile and blue eyes could light up a room. Her laugh was one that will be remembered forever. She will be remembered by many as a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Alice Schnebel; her brother, Rober Schnebel; sons, Danny and Rick Field; and her husband, Frank Majors. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (James) Wolfe; granddaughters, Kathy Field, Kimberly (Bert) Pollard, and Karen (Joseph) Zagami; grandsons, Ricky Field, Jr. and Bradley (Cynthia) Michaels; and her great-grandchildren, Kyler, Wills, Sife, Benson, Eliza Kate, Kinsley, and Avigayil Rae.
