Lauren, From when you were little you were always an adventurous one. A fearless little girl with such a beautiful smile. You grew up to become a beautiful young woman and still fearless. My dearest Lauren. Words can't even describe how much it hurts to know you are gone. I hope and pray that you are finally able to be at peace and that you are smiling now. As if I could ever pick just one favorite memory with you. I will always remember everytime we went fishing and you would always catch the most fish or the biggest fish. Looking back on my childhood I only have a few memories of my beautiful cousin Lauren. But what I remember most is the smile and the laugh. My fondest memory of her is a time when she spent the night at my childhood home and I couldn't have been more than 7-9 years old. I had a video game that allowed us to pick any vehicle we wanted and Lauren chose her favorite car, the Nissan Xtera. We four-wheeled all night long and I just remember the comfort and pureness of her presence. I will always cherish that memory when I close my eyes and remember my cousin. We all wished a different life for her but it was the journey God put her on. Now she's with him and the peace that comes with that is what I hold on to. Rest easy my beautiful cousin.

To Lauren, On December 30th, we all lost a sister, daughter, mother, family member or friend. Conor and I got to spend a lot of time with Lauren as kids. She was a rebel. That's probably why we were drawn to her as an older sister. We liked to push boundaries of rules. Like staying up past bed time watching movies we weren't supposed to watch or sneaking snacks in the middle of the night. She taught us not to care what people thought and most importantly how to dish it back when people tried to bully you. When I was in elementary school Angelica, Conor, Lauren & myself were dying of boredom. Dad was at work so we had no money to do anything. Lauren suggested that we go to the $1.25 movie theatre. Angelica and Lauren were desperately trying to find any sort of cash. We were significantly short. Conor back in the day was a money hoarder. Conor hilariously said "I got this" he had enough money to pay for us to go the movies and even get some snacks. Turned what would've been a boring day into an eventual one. I was thinking of the movie that we watched and Conor and I were able to finally remember what we saw. It was Adam's Sandler click movie. A movie about a remote that makes your life easier. Skip through the boring parts or reflect on your past memories. As I stand here today I wish I could go back and relive those memories with her. I wish we could've spent more time together. I spent so much of my childhood wanting to grow up and live my life that I forgot to enjoy what's happening today. We must take every day for the gift that it is and not look to far ahead. Lauren I wish we could've made more memories. I wish we had more time. I promise that we will celebrate you and make the most of everyday. I promise that when I have kids i won't get on them for being rebels. Lauren we love you, miss you, and we will you see you again in the next life. From Timmy & Conor. P.S. thank you for giving my family the gift of a best friend. Zero is an amazing dog and that's because of you. We will love him and cherish him everyday. Lauren, it feels like I have known you forever. I didn't really begin to know you until you began staying with Kristen and me a few years ago, but our many roadtrips, both short and long, is when I really came to know and love you. Our trip out of Kansas City was a special one. We lost the race against a winter storm when they closed I-70. We did manage to get the last motel room in Colby though. You had me in stitches with your stories and the crazy TV shows we watched. That's not to mention Zero and the kitties ripping around the room and trying to steal our pizza. You were so animated and full of life that day. These and other trips are memories I will always cherish. Thank you for being a part of my life and letting me be a part of yours. To my beautiful Lauren Elizabeth, You meant the world to me before you were even born and now even in death. We shared so much and had a special and sometimes weird connection but that is how we loved. As we would say, "weird is cool". Your beauty was unmatched as well as your spirit for the things you loved. I called you my animal whisperer. Animals of all walks of life would immediately be drawn to you and you them. One of my favorite memories with you were when we would be driving and singing our favorite songs together one of which was by Jimmy Eat World, "In the Middle". We used this song to cheer us both up on many occasions. Then there was a day when you pulled up in your car blasting, "You Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. You jumped out of your car and started doing the dance moves MC Hammer did on his video. God, we laughed so hard. Some of my best memories are when we would all go fishing. We did a lot of that over the years. You caught your biggest Rainbow Trout during a massive rain and windstorm at Aurora Reservoir. You were so proud that yours was bigger than mine and your brother Sa'Von's. Lauren, you were the only one, even still who ever knew where my tickle spots are, and you would sneak up on me from behind and get me good. You just about dropped me to my knees each time. My heart is breaking, and I am going to have a void in my heart forever now that you are physically gone. However, I can still feel your presence and I am still here for you. That will never change. Lauren, I love you so very much. You and I were always partners in crime! I remember so many great memories..from being on the swim team together (I never was as fast as you) to riding and taking the go cart "outback" to going up to buckingham mall just because, to diving for rings in the pool and so many more!
