Obituary of Glora Fern Musick

Glora Fern Musick, born December 2, 1937 in a small town called Hazel, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on January 9, 2023 at the age of 85. Fern is now in her full glory, rejoicing for eternity with Jesus in her heavenly home, alongside her parents, Dennis and Edna Robinson; sister, Carolyn; and great-grandsons, Malachi and Zadok. Fern is known as a beloved wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She adored her family and had a wonderful, healthy, growing one. On September 13, 1958, Fern married Billy Musick. Together, they have two children, their daughter, Lente; and son, Darin. She became a beloved grandma to five grandchildren, Zachary, Mason, Dustin, Analisa, and Megan, and an even more cherished great-grandmother to Dean, Lee, Joseph, and Ella. Surviving her today, who surely love, miss, and will forever remember her, are her sister, Marthella; and brother, Dwane. The admiration surely doesn't stop there. The love of Fern extended far beyond her immediate family, as there are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws who will treasure her because of the love she showed and the impact she made. At the core of Fern's life was, is, and forever will be, an unwavering love for God. Her walk with the Lord on this Earth was precious and beautiful, a faith-filled walk, admired and esteemed by everyone around her. Glora Fern Musick was a Proverbs 31 woman: hardworking and strong, generous, wise, loving, and God-fearing. A woman more precious than rubies, in whom Bill safely trusted. She gave strength to her family. She was always looking to help those around her and in her community - particularly Teen Challenge, as she loved to donate and support that ministry. Fern was faithful and loyal. She took pride in working hard and being consistent. She dressed in fine clothing, an outward display of her honorable, noble, modest character. To the end of her days on earth and eternity, her husband, brothers and sisters, and children call her blessed. Fern enjoyed both work and adventure. She spent years at JCPenney and loved that job. Her family and friends were always dressed well. After twenty-two years, she retired and enjoyed time travelling with her husband. Most, if not all, of their adventures involved family because she cherished them so much. Some of those adventures included moving around the United States with her family as a young girl, living in Germany with Bill, a cruise around Alaska, family reunions over the years across Texas, Colorado, and Missouri, and traveling to visit family and loved ones. The stories her family and friends could tell would span miles of paper. For the latter part of her life, when she and her husband weren't traveling, they lived in Farmington, New Mexico and in Falcon, Colorado. Glora Fern Musick's life is an example forever to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your family and neighbors as yourself.
