Russell Morris AdsitDecember 23, 1947 - March 31, 2010Russell Morris Adsit, 62, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2010. He was born on December 23, 1947 in Buffalo, New York. He is survived by his beloved mother, Helen Adsit, three sisters, Judy and her husband Thomas, Kathy Adsit, Mary Ellen Kenney and her husband Stephen, brother, George Adsit, sister-in-law, Marianne Adsit & 40 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Morris Adsit, brother, Ronald Adsit, and nephew, Joshua Kenney.Russell graduated from Rutgers University in 1970. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 20 years of service in May of 1998. During his service, Russell received many awards and commendations. His most notable accolades include the Navy Achievement Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.Russell was loved and admired by those who knew him. His family and friends will forever miss his great sense of humor and love for the Broncos. He had a generous spirit and canny memory.
