Obituary of Ellen Maxine Peck

Ellen was born in Darke County, Ohio to Frank and Anna Leas on September 21, 1918. She had two brothers and one sister. She married David T. Peck on June 10, 1947. They have four children, Ruth Elaine Martz (Homer), Robert T. Eley (Judith), Jennifer L. Appel and Stephen T. Peck (Deidra).She has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister and two grandchildren."Absent from the body and present with the Lord." She was active in her church for many years and raised her children to love the Lord.Ellen was a military wife and moved her family several times. She enjoyed her travels and seeing new things. She was an avid gardener and loved to do crossword puzzles.Visitation will be Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 5:30PM-8:00PM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue.A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, June 21, 2010, 9:30AM at Circle Drive Baptist Church, 801 N.
