Obituary of Joshua Lee Klein
Josh was the kind of person who made an impact. If someone knew him, you could guarantee they would never forget him. It was in his blood, in his DNA. It was the way he smiled; how it was full of life and love and happiness, how it seemed to extend to the darkest places in your mind and make them warm again, it was how he could talk to anyone about anything, and it was how he truly cared. I think that in the end, the most anyone can hope for is that they made an impact on someone a hope that they will never be forgotten, and even in the eyes of those that barely knew Josh his presence will be missed. Josh had a talent at making people feel good, feel like they didn't need to apologize for taking up space, if you were with Josh, you were home, you were safe. Whether he was telling you he didn't like your attitude, or just trying to get you to smile, he was the type of person you could get close to. Compared to most of you here, I have known Josh for a relatively short time, but feel like I got close to him, and I feel so unbelievably lucky that I did, because Josh was special. He was special because saying that doesn't seem forced, it was just true; he was genuine, he was kind, he was a bright light when things seemed hard to handle, he was Josh. The circumstances under which he died are irrelevant; it's how he lived, the moments that made him someone you could admire that were important. His life was short, but what he did in it meant so much more than a mere 30 years, and when I think of Josh, I do not think of hospitals or crashes, I think of him smiling, beaming at the world from wherever he is now, and I know everything will be ok.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
