Obituary of Deborah Faye Zellner

Deborah Faye Zellner, age 61, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 1, 2010, after a short illness with cancer. Deborah, an 11 year resident of Colorado Springs, was born on February 19, 1949 to Fletcher and Bobbie Zellner in Memphis, TNShe was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Fletcher Zellner III.After moving to Colorado Springs, Deborah was involved for many years in child care and most recently, in Food Services at Colorado College. Deborah was dearly loved by her family and many, many friends.Her disabilities from a car wreck when she was eight provided her opportunities to witness to others her courage, her strength and her faith, that life can be full regardless of the circumstances. She lived life to the fullest with joy and love.Deborah's passions, were working with children, her numerous ministries, charities and Boulder Street Church. Debbie is survived by her cousins, Jan McMillin, William Hale, Kimberly Eyre, Logan Eyre, Rick Roy, Rob Roy, Fletcher Zellner, IV and many friends in Memphis.A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Boulder Street Church, 828 E. Boulder, in Colorado Springs.
